I am Oulay Ceesay Fisher, creator of Calabash African Kitchen. Having come from The Gambia, also known as the smiling coast of West Africa, my family is blessed with a long tradition of preparing amazing Senegambian cuisine.

Our flavorful spices have been selectively picked, our menu formulated to perfection, all sprinkled with love to produce mouthwatering fresh cuisine.

Our delightful Jollof inspired food is well known for it’s unique aroma, amazing spices, and wood fired grilling. It originates from The Gambia and Senegal. This region is collectively known as Senegambia, with The Jollof people being one of the largest among many proud ethnicities within this region.

As Africans, entertaining and feeding people is our fondest tradition. Come experience and mingle in our home away from home for all the enjoy!
